All AOD formulations will naturally gel over time—even when mixed with acetic acid. This physical change is expected and does not impair performance in any research application. Gelled AOD can be used exactly as you would a clear solution.
Reconstitution Guidelines
-
Solvent ratios: Use 1 mL glacial acetic acid + 2 mL bacteriostatic water.
-
Slow addition: Add the bacteriostatic water first. Then, introduce the acetic acid dropwise—never splash it in—to ensure even mixing.
-
Minimize agitation: Vigorous shaking can accelerate solidification. After adding each solvent, gently swirl or invert the vial; avoid vortexing.
-
If gelling occurs: Simply add small aliquots of acetic acid until the solution clears.
Purity Note
Our ultra-high-purity AOD may gel more readily than lower-concentration formulations. This characteristic reflects its concentration, not a manufacturing flaw.
Purchase Terms
All sales are final—no refunds or exchanges. By ordering, you acknowledge and accept the normal gelling behavior of this product.
Alternative Option
For those seeking a longer-lasting peptide formulation, consider Tesamorelin as an alternative research reagent.
Note: AOD-9604 is intended for research purposes only and is not approved for human consumption. All products are shipped in lyophilized form and must be reconstituted to a liquid for research and testing. We are unable to provide any dosing instructions. All products should be considered pharmaceutical grade.
