IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3 is a 70-amino-acid synthetic analog of native IGF-1 in which glutamic acid at position 3 is replaced by arginine, and the N-terminal sequence is extended. This modification reduces binding to IGF-binding proteins, markedly prolonging its half-life and enhancing receptor engagement. In research applications, IGF-1 LR3 exhibits high affinity for IGF-1 receptors, making it a powerful tool for probing IGF-mediated signaling cascades, receptor dynamics, and downstream gene regulation in cellular and animal models. Its stability and receptor selectivity have made it a cornerstone reagent for studies of growth factor signaling and metabolic pathway modulation.
